Imaging USA

January 6-8th, 2008

It was time once again for Imaging USA.  It is an event for photographers that my good friend, Diane, and I look forward to each year.   There are so many conventions for photographers and we agree that this is one of the best!  The first year we went it was in Austin, TX.  Great for me!  Diane lives in North Carolina so she usually has to fly anyway.  This year it was in Tampa, Fl.  It was really like a mini vacation for us.  Diane has a friend that lives in Tampa and we were

 able to stay at her place.  In exchange for our room and board for 2 nights we had to photograph a glamour session for Diane's friends.  We had soooo much fun!  The photography started after we drank a couple bottles of champagne.  No matter what age we are...we still enjoy playing dress up with our girlfriends!!!

Renaissance Hotel

My first wedding for 2008! Monica was such an easy going bride. She looked beautiful and her dress was one of the prettiest I have seen! Her family was so nice to us all day. We started out at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. The Catholic ceremony was really nice! The reception was at the Renaissance Hotel in Richardson. This hotel was 7 years old but looked brand new. The father of one of my previous bride's called to set up a family portrait.  It was so nice to see the whole family again.  We started out taking a few shots of the parents at their home.  Then we all jumped in our cars and headed to a beautiful park in Downtown Dallas.  It was a beautiful sunny day....but don't forget it is still December.  A bit chilly!
