Hilton Lakes DFW

It was time for our monthly meeting for The Professional Wedding Guild of Fort Worth. We are a group of professionals that get together once a month to check out a venue, have a great lunch and do some networking! I really look forward to it. As I am used to working for large companies....now that I am on my own these people are like my co-workers. I truly enjoy seeing them each month and chatting and networking of course! This was our last meeting of the year. I did a few pictures...mostly when I am the working photographer for the lunch...I take a bunch of silly shots!

Heritage Park, Fort Worth

I photographed Ken and Kim's engagement session today.  We were all trying not to think about how cold and windy it was!  Ken just wore a short sleeve shirt...and he didn't complain at all!  We went to a few different locations and got some great images!  I think we found every broken down building in Fort Worth!

Magnolia Lounge

This wedding was at the Magnolia Lounge in Fair Park. It was a really cool art deco type of building! It was freezing cold and very windy. The ceremony was moved indoors. I was pretty happy about that! Richard and Bridget were so much fun to work with! I hope they have a wonderful honeymoon!!!

Fun Fall Day

I must say they are pretty cute!!!! They take after their mother of course!!!!!!

Sky Creek Ranch

Jena's wedding and reception was at The Sky Creek Ranch. I LOVE shooting here! There are so many places for amazing pics. It definitely helps when I have such a cute couple like Jena and Mitch.

Thistle Hill

I had so much fun at this wedding. My friend, Diane, flew into town for a training and she was able to photograph this wedding with me! It was at Thistle Hill...which is beautiful and the bride was gorgeous!

Las Colinas Canal

My friend Leah had asked me to help out Justin, her photographer boyfriend. He is just breaking into the biz and was looking for some posing tips. His sister Jackie made a GREAT model!! She was recently married and had her wedding dress available for this photo shoot!

Natalie's 5th birthday party at The Great Wolf Lodge!!! She loved it and had a blast. That is all she can STILL talk about!

Thistle Hill

Rochelle is having her wedding and reception at Thistle Hill in Fort Worth. We photographed her Bridal Portraits there this week. It is really hard for me to pick a favorite! I love all of them. She looks very glamorous!!!

Diamond Oaks Country Club

Martha and Kenneth had a beautiful wedding at Diamond Oaks Country Club. The weather was beautiful for the outdoor ceremony. Martha did all of her own flowers for the bouquet's, boutineer's and center pieces! She was quite a busy bride! Everything turned out GREAT!

Mediterranean Villa

Angie worked for a company that referred some clients to me. So when it was time for her to get married...she wanted me to photograph her wedding. I have been so happy working with Angie on her engagements, bridals and finally the wedding. I hope they keep me in mind when the decide to have little ones!!

Botanic Gardens

August 21st

I photographed Angie at The Botanic Gardens in Fort Worth. It was pretty hot outside but we did get some amazing images! Angie's mom was a big help for me! I love it when the mom's come! Stay tuned...I am shooting Angie's Wedding this saturday and will be sure to post a few of the images as well. We are expecting some pretty bad weather from Hurricane Ike...we'll see!!!!

Matt and Melissa's Wedding!

My bride, Melissa, is beautiful!  She looks a lot like Anne Hathaway....without the boyfriend issues hopefully.  The wedding was at the Dallas Arboretum and was just picture perfect.  Here are just a few of the wonderful images we took that night!

Finally Updating!

I know...I have been terrible about updating my blog.  I was too busy with...life.  As a wedding photographer, this is our busy part of the season.  No excuse.  So I will restart my blog with my favorite things...how about our family vacation.  My husband and I surprised the kids with a trip to Playa Del Carmen, Mexico!  I have a thing for Mexico.  Anyway...here is our trip in a nutshell...

Texas Snow Day

Yes in the middle of March...in Texas...it snowed! The kids had a blast!

Downtown Fort Worth

I shot an engagement session in downtown Fort Worth for Bethany and Adam. They were really a lot of fun to work with! Such a nice couple and they were open to all of my suggestions. Even in a beautiful dress, Bethany climbed up into a window sill! Keep checking back to see her bridal portrait and wedding!

Rose Chapel

March 9th

I photographed Maria and Bernie's wedding this past Sunday. She was beautiful! I think she had the prettiest wedding dress I have seen yet! It was perfect for her. They were married at the beautiful Rose Chapel in downtown Fort Worth. Their reception was there as well. Take a look at some beautiful images of the bride!

SKY CREEK RANCH

March 8th

Amy from Sky Creek Ranch asked me to photograph the set up for that evenings wedding.  It looked beautiful!  The theme was all about the bride and groom with the focal point being a beautiful ice sculpture of the Empire State Building.  That is where he proposed to her.  That is very romantic!  Here are a few pics of the venu!
